The Preserve at Antoine
Five Miles of Trails - 600 Acres of Conserved Land
Twenty minutes east of Chelan awaits a rural retreat like no other: six-hundred acres of rolling foothill terrain with five miles of looping trails. Rustling bunch grass, dancing wildflowers, and curious mule deer await. Adjacent, nine home sites offer spacious opportunities for private getaway cabins. Welcome to the Preserve at Antione.
The Preserve
The six-hundred acres of open space at the Preserve were protected in 2006 by a conservation easement granted to the Chelan Douglas Land Trust. This easement allows for non-motorized use of the property and protects the landscape from future development.
The open space begins as shrub-steppe habitat at lower elevations and then transitions to Ponderosa forests. It borders National Forest land to the north. Herds of mule deer, lone coyotes, an occasional moose, and meadowlarks frequent the land.
The Homesites
The conserved land is bordered to the south by nine parcels that range in size from 12 to 26 acres. Each enjoys electricity and water. A get-away cabin called the “Aspen” was built on parcel M in 2022 and has since welcomed many overnight guests.
At the time of this post in March of 2024, one parcel has sold, two are currently under-contract, and the Aspen is also under contract. All are expected to close in early spring. Contact Guy Evans for more information about the remaining purchase opportunities.
The Trails
Developed in 2021, the trails at the Preserve unlock the grandeur and diversity of the landscape. The Lower Loop trail travels 1.7 miles through the homesites and offers a great morning walk after coffee.
The Upper Loop heads north into the conserved open-space along the eastern ridge, gains 568 feet before looping back along a second ridge to the west. This trail is especially glorious during wildflower season.
Finally, the Preserve Loop travels 1.8 miles into the heart of the open-space. Here you walk under a canopy of Ponderosas stretching overhead.
Hikers will be met with views in all directions on all three trails.
Try the Trails!
The trails and open-space lands are held for the private enjoyment of Preserve at Antoine property owners and their guests. However, during the sales period, all are welcome to try the trails.
If you would like to spend a morning or afternoon exploring the Preserve, please text Guy for more trail information and gate code.
